- Green tea can stop tiny tumours of clusters of cells getting the blood supply they need to grow. In order to survive they need oxygen and nutrients like other living things. To bring these to the site they need to grow new blood vessels. Green tea can help prevent this happening.
- Green tea can also lower oestrogen. This is important as 70% of breast cancers grow with this hormone. Studies show that green tea can stop male hormones being converted to oestrogen after the menopause.
